Step Up for Students Direct-pay provider

SUFS Scholarships We are a direct-pay provider for the Step Up for Students scholarship. Be sure to ask how we can make this program of little or no out of pocket cost to you and your families! Online Learning For our partnering teams, we offer a fully accredited online curriculum so you have the flexibility to maximize your time on the playing field. In Person Tutors Our tutors will be on site to help your student athlete make the most of their learning time. They will work online, but have our tutors there for any questions they need help with. SAT & ACT Prep For years we've helped hundreds of local students prepare for the SAT & ACT tests and we will help all Juniors and Seniors in our partnering academies do the same.

A Lieutenant Commander in the Navy Reserve, Andrew Learned founded GradePower Learning Valrico's location in 2013 so kids could earn scholarships the way he did and graduate college debt-free.

He was since elected to the Florida House of Representatives serving Brandon, Lithia, and Riverview serving on the Early Learning sub-committee. Andrew Learned owner/director Philip Cottone is a career educator and school administrator formerly serving as Assistant Principal with Hillsborough County Public Schools and as the Director of Gifted Studies for Florida Virtual School. Phil Cottone Owner/Director Therese started at GradePower Learning as an SAT tutor and has grown and led the program, along with all our other afterschool tutoring students, for nearly 10-years. She's a Chemical Engineer by training from USF. Therese Doebler Director Nina formerly ran Silicon Valley Tutoring before relocating here with her family. She's experienced with reading & math students and is additionally fluent in Japanese. Nina Cowan Director Julius spent a career in computer science and now is enjoying his retirement while helping local students with the challenging mathematics on the SAT & ACT tests.
